STAR SMILE’S active ingredient Peroxydone® 12% offers a concentrated and stable complex of hydrogen peroxide for optimum whitening results. In the formula Peroxydone® is a solid complex of hydrogen peroxide and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) polymers which is then mixed with ethanol to form a gel. FACTS ABOUT PEROXYDONE®
  • Hydrogen Peroxide H202 (water with an extra molecule of oxygen) is extremely effective in whitening teeth through oxidization and bleaching the teeth, however is very unstable – traditionally H202 has been prepared at the time of whitening i.e. by a dentist. Peroxydone® offers a solution to this problem as the active H202 is coated in a PVP polymer maintaining stability and offering stronger whitening benefits over a longer period of time
  • STAR SMILE combines Peroxydone® complexes with ethanol to formulate a gel. When the gel is applied to the teeth, the ethanol evaporates, thereby further increasing the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and intensifying the whitening process.
  • Peroxydone® provides excellent adhesion to teeth without taste or odor
  • Compared to Carbamide Peroxide - used in the majority of common whitening products, STAR SMILE, containing Peroxydone® which is clinically proven to be far more stable and can maintain stronger whitening over longer periods of time.     Directions: 1. Twist pen to dispense gel 2. Smile wide, keeping lips away from teeth. Apply a thin layer of gel to all teeth. 3. The gel foams slightly as it dissolves stains & bleaches teeth. 4. Relax lips after 30 seconds. Do not rinse. Leave gel on teeth for ongoing benefits. 5. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes. Apply 2-4 times daily for optimum results
    To apply lipstick, remove cap, hold lipstick end while twisting middle of pen to wind up lipstick.
