Rokk Ebony named Australian Hairdresser of the Year Finalist

Rokk Ebony Creative Director, Joey Scandizzo has been named as a
finalist in the Australian Hairdresser of the Year Awards.
In Joey's submission, named 'Architecture'- hair conforms to represent
the essence of architecture- definite exterior, innovative texture and
the added interest of modern colour, meld to create abstract design with
a human element.
"The strong design elements of architecture inspired me to create these
looks. Like the contrast of a wind-swept tousle with bold lines," says
Joey. "I like to push the boundaries of hairdressing to meet the
futuristic elements that for me is interesting".
Joey is known throughout the hairdressing industry for his high
attention to detail and creative flair, which makes him one of the most
sought after hairdressers for magazine shoots, large events and
celebrity clientele.
As an editorial Session stylist, Joey has created beauty for a variety
of leading international publications. He also works backstage on
several leading TV shows including: Today, Sunrise and the Kerri Anne
Show and Sydney and Melbourne Fashion weeks.
Other recent accolades include: AHFA Men's Hairdresser of the Year 2008,
American Crew Face Off Winner 2008, American Crew Face Off 2007 People's
Choice Award and Wella Trend Vision 2007 Winner.
