The Thornthwaite Inheritance

The Thornthwaite Inheritance

Murderous sibling rivalry, dodgy dealings and killer bees…

Ovid and Lorelli Thornthwaite are just like any twin brother and sister- except that they live in an old gothic mansion with no phone, no television, dim lighting, bland food, and they are only allowed to wear black. There is also the small fact that they have been trying to kill each other for as long as they can remember. It has been going for so long that neither can recall which act of attempted murder actually came first. But whoever struck first, trying to take each other's live is simply what they do.

This all changes the day a suspicious lawyer and his teenage son arrive at their house. Soon a new battle evolves and the twins reluctantly realise they need to work together in order to solve the mystery of their parents death. Will they be able to overcome their old animosities and learn to trust each other?

A delightfully twisted and humorous gothic tale for fans of mayhem, mishap and misadventure. Ideal for both boys and girls with a flare for the mischievous and an appreciation of deadly whodunits.

Recommended for ages 10-12.
