Tomorrow When The War Began is based on the iconic novels of John Marsden and follows the journey of eight high school friends from a remote country town whose lives are suddenly and violently upended by an invasion that no one saw coming. Cut off from their families and their friends, these eight extraordinary teenagers must learn to escape, survive and fight back against a hostile military force.

The film's hot young ensemble cast includes Caitlin Stasey (Neighbours, The Sleepover Club), Rachel Hurd-Wood (Peter Pan, Dorian Gray, Perfume), Lincoln Lewis (Home & Away), Deniz Akdeniz (When the Bell Rings), Phoebe Tonkin (H2O - Just Add Water), Chris Pang (Home Song Stories, Real Stories), Ashleigh Cummings (Home & Away, Razzle Dazzle), Andy Ryan (The Jesters).

Stuart Beattie (Australia, Pirates fo the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) wrote and directed the film which launched to much critical acclaim. It took $13m at the Australian Box Office, making it the most successful Australian film of 2010 and has been nominated for five Inside Film Awards (including Best Feature, Best Actor and Best Actress) and nine AFI awards.
