The Super Bowl is back for another year.
Many people don't even watch the Super Bowl anymore, but they watch the advertisements.
You know you are a super star if you are asked to appear in a Super Bowl ad. This year features Kim Kardashian, Pierce Brosnan and Rex Lee (Lloyd from Entourage), just to name a few.
In the past, ads have featured David Beckham, Elton John, Matthew Broderick and Jerry Seinfeld.
A 30 second ad costs around $3 million and a 60 second ad will cost nearly $9 million.
'There will be over 110 million Americans watching these ads. If each person who watches the ad spends just $1 on a brand's product, they have more than made their money back.
'The ads used to just be advertisements. Now however, they are supported heavily by social media campaigns and leaked before the actual Super Bowl to get extra coverage. Upcoming movies however still keep their trailers a secret until Super Bowl day", said Justin Graham, Chief Strategy Officer, M&C Saatchi.
Justin, who was a judge at Cannes last year and Campaign Asia's 2014 -Advertising Strategist of the Year', will be able to speak on:
· The best and worst ever Super Bowl ads
· Why consumers love these Super Bowl ads so much
· Is it really money well spent?
· The funniest ads during this Super Bowl
· Why companies feel the need to advertise during the Super Bowl
Will you be watching the game or the ads this Super Bowl day?
