This October marks the 10th Annual Pink Ribbon Ride with female motorcyclists from all over Australia coming together in Sydney to raise funds for The Westmead Breast Cancer Institute.

Dressed in as much pink as they can find, over 1,000 riders will take to the streets on their motorcycles giving hope to those affected by breast cancer, personally and their families, as they raise funds towards the research into prevention and cure of the disease.

Starting in 2001 with just 300 participants, the Annual Pink Ribbon Ride has grown significantly over the past 10 years with last year seeing over 800 riders take part. This year's organisers, Girls Ride Out Inc, aim to hit the 1,000 participants mark and are encouraging all those interested to come forward and enjoy the ride that will not disappoint.
