Australian poet, Kate Middleton, the recent recipient of Sydney's first City Poet will offer one of her poems to be transformed on stage at Acting On Ink at The State Library's Dixson Room on Saturday November 19 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

Never before experienced in Australia, the new entertainment phenomena features hot young talents Meredith Penman (City Homicide), Holly Austin (Footy Legends 2006) and actor/ playwright Nick Coyle (October Sapphire) as they interpret the works of 2011's award winning poets Mark Tredinnick, Robert Adamson, Jennifer Maiden, Cate Kennedy and now, City Poet Kate Middleton.

A new initiative by Australian Poetry Ltd, the City Poet Prize has been newly developed to encourage and promote the reading, writing and appreciation of literature and poetry across Sydney and New South Wales.
