During summer, hair removal is at an all-time high. Despite the widespread availability of hair removal methods such as waxing and laser, shaving remains the most popular method for Australian women. In a survey conducted by Schick, the majority of respondents said shaving was their preferred hair removal method with 98 per cent of women removing underarm hair, and 72 per cent of those choosing to shave. Of the 94 per cent removing leg hair, 67 per cent of women shave.

Shaving was also the most popular method of bikini hair removal with 84 per cent of women surveyed grooming their bikini area. 28 per cent tidy stray hairs outside of the underwear line, 27 per cent leave some hair (strip, triangle or circle) and 37 per cent remove all hair.

These findings confirm the need for an everyday razor that simplifies the grooming experience and allows easy bikini area maintenance.
