Borders is hosting an exclusive book signing and Q&A session with leading Melbourne crime writers Colin McLaren, Andrew Rule and Keith Moor at its Carlton Store.
Colin McLaren has a remarkable background as an experienced undercover cop with the Victorian police which resulted in the convictions of eleven mobsters, including bosses Antonio Romeo and Rosario Trimbole, on drug trafficking charges. He went on to become Australia's most experienced task force detective, serving on four major assignments in rapid succession including the Walsh Street murders, the Mr. Cruel child rapes and murders, the Griffith Mafia probe and the NCA bombing.
Keith Moor is the author of Crims in Grass Houses, which chronicles the life and crimes of Australia's most wanted man and reached number three on the national best-seller list. Keith is currently the head of the Herald Sun's investigative unit, having been appointed Insight Editor in 1996.
Andrew Rule is the co author and publisher of the Underbelly true crime series and winner of the Gold Walkley and the recipient of the Australian Journalist of the Year award on two occasions. He has also written several other books including the critically-acclaimed Cuckoo and co-edited and published the phenomenally successful Chopper Read books. Andrew is now the deputy editor of investigations and features at the Age.
