ACMI: Autumn School Holidays Program

Family Sundays: Easter: FREE Family Sundays are back! Join us on Easter Sunday for a day full of free family activities. Build a robot that draws Easter eggs, bring vintage Easter illustrations to life by turning them into an animated gif, and go on TV with the Easter Bunny through the magic of green screen. You might catch a glimpse of another famous rabbit while playing our Wonderland-themed version of Minecraft.

WORKSHOP: Make a Movie: Kids are invited to make their own short film from scratch in this hands-on workshop. Participants will work in teams to pitch ideas, write a script, design costumes, act, direct and shoot on location at ACMI and around Fed Square. After mastering the post-production process, adding sound effects and the perfect soundtrack, kids and their guests will walk the red carpet at their very own premiere.

FILM: Alice in Wonderland: Follow Alice down the rabbit hole and into Disney's delirious and musical rendition of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland. Featuring genre defining set pieces, including the Mad Hatter's Tea Party and the Cheshire Cat, this classic adaptation is a joy for the whole family.  In celebration of our Wonderland exhibition this film will be showing every Saturday for the duration of the exhibition (excluding August).
