ACMI celebrates The Wizard of Oz

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) will celebrate the enduring legacy of The Wizard of Oz (1939) in a special program of free live performances, activities and talks on Sunday 7 July.

Wizard of Oz Day is scheduled to coincide with the popular Hollywood Costume exhibition, which features the gingham dress worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale, alongside ruby slippers. Hollywood Costume provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this iconic costume, which has never before been on public display.

Wizard of Oz Day at ACMI is a free event taking place from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 7 July, in the school holidays. For more information, please visit acmi.net.au
