The Afterglow AW.1 for the Wii features relocated '+' and '-' buttons above the 'A' button, allows greater precision in FPS and other action titles as well as tiered '1' and '2' buttons which improve horizontal remote game play, lend a retro feel to classic virtual console titles.

Each Afterglow controller allows the player to adjust the LED settings to: on, off, or acceleration (activates when remote is swung or shaken).
