After the sell-out success of their 2016 season Jala, Apollon Studios proudly returns with Agni; an exhibition with dynamic multilayered performance evenings, including a premiere theatre season and original, live music.
The latest production in Apollon Studios series of Vedic Elements Works; Water, Fire, Wind, Earth and Aether, Agni is a celebration of all the aspects of Fire. Following on from Jala (Water), this second instalment of the five planned seasons again brings together a diverse team of artists to create and present their work.
A swirling dervish of theatre, music, dance, performance and visual art, Agni features premiere works by award-winning playwright Robert Reid, musician Tim Wild (Taxiride), composer David Balaban and Artistic Director of Apollon Studios, Malcolm Berry.
Melbourne art lovers are also invited to experience an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Adelaide graphic artist Krystal Brock and painter Malcolm Berry. The works celebrate the power of fire in a variety of cultural and emotional contexts and will be open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday (10am - 4pm) until the 17th of December.
