Review:
If you haven't already booked Alias into your regular schedule there is still time to start. From the word go (season 1) we are thrown into the deep end of Sydney Bristo's (Jennifer Garner) world as a spy.
Season 2 starts with the surrender of Sidney's mother Irina Derevko (Lena Olin) into the CIA, her true inventions unclear, she definitely causes a waves.
We uncover more of Rambaldi although not much on his end game. And finally! romance blossoms, Sydney (Garner) and Michael (Vartan) have some great chemistry. What a powerful team they make.
The actors all play their roles to a tee which is probably why it's such a huge success. There's Jack Bristo (Victor Garber) who will stop at nothing and knows no boundries as a seasoned spy, Marshal (Kevin Weisman) with the perfect geek antics, Julian Sark (David Anders) a cheeky loveable villian with no pride, and of course Irina Derevko (Lena Olin) spy or mother with questioning eyes.
If you haven't already, go out and buy season 1 & 2 now, there are bits that will only make sense if you go back to the start and refresh your memory. There are many surprises around the corner and this fast paced action packed series will have you up late at night watching.
