ANTTI

ANTTI

The Fashion Label That Is Anti-Everything, So It Can Stand For Something

ANTTI is a label that goes against mainstream industries, fast-fashion, wastage, modern slavery, environmental degradation and anti-ethical practices in general - as the name indicates for itself.

It's also about edgy and effortless pieces designed to be worn time and time again - embodying freedom, both in its ethos and in its curation of minimalistic items which set out to challenge traditional masculine and feminine sartorial choices.

The brand's first collection - Sandstorm - was completely designed and produced in Sydney complying with fair work standards for employees and utilising fabrics sourced from remnant warehouses which would otherwise end up in landfill.

All of the fabric scraps and cuttings that are left over during the production of ANTTI wares get sent to be up-cycled into stuffing for punching bags. To fill one large punching bag, 12 full 240-litre bags of fabric are recycled. Packs a punch, right? The brand also makes sure their garments do not undergo chemical treatments, nor do they use any harsh dyes to avoid water contamination and to minimise the usage of "invisible water" in their production processes.

The brainchild of designer Pricila Civatti, ANTTI was created to provide beautiful garments that while stylish, don't fall into the rapid trend cycle. It sets out to challenge our consumption habits, and look at fashion differently - to slow down and buy quality, with purpose.

Pricila is working to see ANTTI eventually become a fully sustainable and environmentally friendly label and within the next two years, aims to curate a range of fair-trade and organic garments made completely from recycled fibres.
