Aussie Mango Face Mask

Aussie Mango Face Mask

I bet you never thought you'd include the delicious, sweet Aussie Mango into your skincare routine? Well, think again! The Nation's favourite fruit is rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals, which are great for their anti-ageing benefits. If the chill of winter has left your skin a little dull and in need of brightening up, mangoes offer the perfect natural ingredients that promote glowing, healthy, fresh skin, just in time for summer! Our beloved summer fruit contains some of the following skin loving vitamins.

Vitamin C –reduces the damage induced by the sun's UV rays, although it's not a sunscreen, it protects against free radicals.
Vitamin A – also known as Retinol, diminishes fine lines by stimulating collagen production and lightening dark patches on the skin.
Vitamin B6 – a water-soluble vitamin that reduces sebum on the skin.
Vitamin E – a fat-soluble vitamin that's great for hydrating the skin.

Jemma O'Hanlon, Accredited Practising Dietitian loves mangoes not just for their beauty boosting benefits on the outside, but on the inside too. "By enjoying a mango a day over the summer you'll boost your skin with vitamin A, C and E. One mango contains almost double your daily intake of vitamin C - which boosts the collagen in your skin. Coupled with providing over half your daily intake of vitamin A, it's nature's retinol & vitamin C serum in one!
