The Australian of the Year Awards 2012 celebrates the achievements and contributions of eminent citizens throughout the last year. And this year prior to the Australia Celebrates Concert ABC1 will be covering the official announcement live, for the first time, hosted by Stephanie Brantz. The awards event will include performances by Jack Vigden and Judith Durham OAM who, together with The Seekers, received the Australian the Year Award in 1967.
