On the evening of Tuesday 18th November, the fabulous heritage-listed Melbourne Town Hall will be the setting for a wonderful evening in support of drought relief.

Through extensive work in regional and rural communities, the AWLF has first-hand knowledge of the on-going challenges facing Australian families as a direct result of the worst drought on record.

As part of the Inaugural Australian Regional Women Leaders Convention, the AWLF and Ergon Energy will host a national drought relief gala dinner. Dinner entertainment will include a powerful keynote address by Australian Story s Sam and Jenny Bailey, various musical and comedy skits and a charity auction with all proceeds going directly to help Australian families aff ected by drought.

The charity auction has attracted the support of some high profile Australian s including Country and Western singer Lee Kernaghan, Director of Jimmy Possum Furniture, Margot Spalding and Chairman and Director of Hancock Prospecting, Gina Rinehart.
