Kids and families are invited to help build the world's largest LEGO Friends heart at Westfield Parramatta on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July to celebrate International Friendship Day.
LEGO is asking kids and their friends to come together to help create the largest heart made of LEGO bricks. The heart build will be comprised of nearly 100,000 LEGO bricks and stands at 3 metres high when complete. The build will be led by Ryan -The Brickman' McNaught, one of just 14 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world and the only one in the southern hemisphere.
LEGO Friends Ambassadors Sabre, Sockie and Naz Norris will also be joining kids at the build, and giving fans the chance to find out what friendship means to them.
Across the weekend, kids will have the chance to create their own mini heart that will form part of the large build. Visitors will also have the chance to a -heart mission', pledging promises of friendship as well as sharing their friendship stories. The fun doesn't stop there: there are LEGO heart necklaces to create and bring home plus a free play area for kids to get stuck in and let their creativity run wild.
For those wanting to snap a selfie, the finished heart will be on display at Westfield Parramatta on International Friendship Day (Monday 30 July). They are invited to share in the fun by sharing their experience on social using the hashtag #WeveGotHeart #LEGOFriends.
