Running Time: 112 minutes.

Screenwriter Susannah Grant makes her directorial debut in this tale of love, loss, and finding new love. Gray Wheeler's (Jennifer Garner) wedding day is not going as planned. Instead of walking down the aisle in her wedding gown, she is at the funeral of her fiance, Grady, following his accidental death on a trip meant to be his bachelor party. Gray finds herself in financial trouble and puts her things in storage and moves in with Grady's roommates, Dennis (Sam Jaeger) who is considerate, attentive & levelheaded and ever hungry, quirky and completely lovable Sam (Kevin Smith).

With childhood friend Fritz (Timothy Olyphant) in from L.A. and crashing on the couch, it's a full house. Inhabiting Grady's old room, Gray soon learns that her fiance had been keeping some big secrets from her and is not the man she thought he was. Grady is forced to face some home truths about herself and discovers and inner strength to heal and love again.

Catch and Release portrays how the people close to Grady find a way to survive the devastating loss of a man who held them all together. Jennifer Garner effectively conveys Gray's heartbreak and confusion without going over the top. Fritz (Timothy Olyphant) the misunderstood friend is mysterious, exciting & romantic. His close is a line to remember... Your heart will bleed for Dennis (Sam Jaeger), Grady's roommate and business partner who's timing is all wrong. Kevin Smith is the scene-stealer of the movie with his honest portral of Sam, Grady's friend that doesn't expect anything good to happen to him.

CATCH AND RELEASE is a bitter-sweet yet heart-warming tragi-comedy that will appeal to fans of films like BOUNCE, THE BIG CHILL and RETURN TO ME.
