Caulfield Cup Inspiration

This year, the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) has partnered with four key David Jones designers (Manning Cartell,  Ginger & Smart, Camilla and Marc and Bianca Spender) to create a look in conjunction with MRC Stylist Lana Wilkinson using the fabric and colour palette from their SS15 collection, which is inspired by the Caulfield Cup.

The idea was born from the opportunity that Caulfield poses, to be more creative and colourful with looks. Unlike the Melbourne Cup Carnival, traditional dress codes and colour schemes do not apply at Caulfield and it's also the first time racegoers get to play with their new season looks trackside.
