Local kids are invited to take part in a series of exciting events this Easter at Australia's favourite toy store, Toys'R'Us hosts a variety of free fun activities in-store. Keeping the kids entertained during the school holidays will be light work for parents with each event providing a level of excitement resulting in hours of fun in-store and at home.

Thomas and Friends Train Event - Saturday 7th April, 2012
10am-12pm
The program will kick off with everyone's favourite, Thomas and Friends, as Toys'R'Us hosts its fun filled Train Day event. Kids will have the opportunity to try their hand at conducting as they dive into the magical world of Thomas with store staff. Party games such as Name Thomas' Friends will be played as well as a variety of activities including colouring Thomas and Friends activity sheets.

Easter Arts & Crafts - Tuesday 10th April, 2012
10am-12pm
Get crafty and make someone a special gift this Easter at this special arts and crafts event. Pens, glue and lots more will be at the ready for little ones to create fabulous works of art including their own Easter Bunny ears and Easter basket to take away with them on the day. Those who are set for the challenge will also have the chance to complete Geoffrey's maze and word search.

Beyblade Tournament - Wednesday 11th April, 2012
10am, 11am, 12pm
Kids will have the chance to compete to become the ultimate Beyblade Champion, where they will rise to the challenge and go head to head in a series of Beyblade battles.
Spaces are limited and registrations are required. Register at Toysrus.com.au. Ages 5+.

FurReal Friends Dizzy Dancer Dance Off - Thursday 12th April, 2012

It's Dizzy Dance time! This week will see another contest as kids take part in the thrilling FurReal Friends Dizzy Dance Off, competing against others to see who can keep their Dizzy character spinning the longest. Dizzy lovers will go head to head to battle in the 12 Dizzy Dancer challenges and will be taught a number of Dizzy moves and tricks!

Crayola Colouring Workshop - Saturday 14th April, 2012
10am-12pm
Colouring has never been so much fun as Toys'R'Us staff work with kids to create the perfect masterpieces. Fun activities include colouring on giant colour pages and creating with construction paper.
