Justin Drew Bieber (; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, actor and songwriter. After a talent manager discovered him through his YouTube videos covering songs in 2008 and he signed to RBMG, Bieber released his debut EP, My World, in late 2009. It was certified platinum in the U.S. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries, was certified triple platinum in the U.S., and contained his single "Baby".

Following his debut album and promotional tours, he released his 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe (2011), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. His third studio album, Believe (2012) generated the single "Boyfriend", which reached number one in Canada. His fourth studio album Purpose was released in 2015, spawning three number one singles: "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", and "Love Yourself". Afterwards, Bieber was featured on several successful collaborations, including "Cold Water", "Let Me Love You", "Despacito (Remix)", and "I'm the One". His U.S. album and singles sales total 44.7 million. He has sold an estimated 140 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists, and became the second person to reach 100 million followers on Twitter in August 2017 after Katy Perry.

Bieber has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the American Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2010 and 2012, a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for the song "Where Are Ü Now", and a Latin Grammy Award. He has been listed three times by Forbes magazine among the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world, in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In 2016, Bieber became the first artist to surpass 10 billion total video views on Vevo.

As of July 7, 2018, Bieber is engaged to American model and actress Hailey Baldwin.

Purpose

Purpose is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer Justin Bieber, released on November 13, 2015, by Def Jam Recordings and School Boy Records. The album was preceded by the release of the lead single "What Do You Mean?", which reached number one in many music charts, and the record-breaking second single "Sorry". Believe Acoustic

Believe Acoustic is the third remix album by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber. It was released on January 29, 2013 through Island Records as the follow-up to his second remix album Never Say Never: The Remixes (2011). This also marks the second acoustic album following My Worlds Acoustic (2010). The album features acoustic and live versions of songs from his third studio album Believe (2012), as well as three new recordings. The album went to number 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart making this Bieber's fifth number 1 album.

Journals

Journals is the second compilation album by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber. The album was only released digitally through online platforms, such as iTunes, on December 23, 2013 by Island Records. A ten-week digital download campaign entitled Music Mondays, in which one new song was released every Monday night, was held from October 7, 2013 to December 9, 2013. In addition to then songs released on "Music Mondays", Journals is also composed of other five previously unreleased songs. The recording sessions took place between 2012 and 2013, while the singer was on his Believe Tour, which generated one or two songs a day throughout the entire tour.

Looking to transition from the teen pop styles of his two-piece debut effort My World (2009) and My World 2.0 (2010), Bieber opted to create a follow-up record that featured more prominent elements of dance-pop and contemporary R&B. My World 2.0

My World 2.0 is the debut studio album by Canadian singer Justin Bieber, released on March 19, 2010, by Island Records. It is considered the second half of a two-piece project, being supplemented by his debut extended play My World (EP) (2009). After signing a recording contract in light of his growing popularity on YouTube, Bieber worked with collaborators including his mentor Usher, in addition to producers Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, and Midi Mafia. The record follows in the vein of My World, incorporating pop and R&B styles, and also experiments with hip hop elements. Lyrically, it discusses teen romance and coming of age situations.
