Interview with Chloe and Christie
Question: What are you most looking forward to about coming to Australia?
Chloe and Christie: Touring! We live to visit new countries and see new things. We are especially excited for the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb. And Tim Tams, of course!
Question: What should we expect from the Sequins and Secrets tour?
Chloe and Christie: Lots of dancing and juicy secrets. Getting to know us better and seeing what makes Chloe just like every other teenager in the world.
Question: Can you share one of the juicy secrets from the show, with us?
Chloe and Christie: Find out what it was really like to sit upstairs with the moms! Who is really the most like themselves on TV.
Question: What is a typical day like, for you now, Chloe?
Chloe: I go to school and dance classes after. Or, if I'm in New York or Los Angeles, I might be auditioning or working. But still doing homework and catching a dance class or two.
Question: What are your hopes for your dancing future?
Chloe: I don't know, I change my mind so often. Right now, I think my dream would be to land a dance role in a movie!
Question: What originally inspired you to begin dancing, Chloe?
Chloe: Well, nothing really inspired me...I was only two! My mom thought every little girl should take a dance class, so she signed me up!
Question: Chloe, if you could perform with anyone in the dance industry, who would you like to work with?
Chloe: Britney Spears.
Question: How did Dance Moms change your lives?
Chloe and Christie: We get to travel the world and see things we have only dreamed of. We also get to meet the best people and hear stories of how we have touched their lives. It's pretty amazing.
Question: What advice do you have for young Australians who want to be dancers?
Chloe and Christie: Never, ever let anyone tell you you're not good enough. Dance is an art and it's subjective. What speaks to one person may not speak to another.
Question: Christie, what advice do you have for the mothers of Australian dancers?
Christie: You know your child best. You know when they need pushed and when to listen to what they want. Trust your maternal instinct.
Question: What's next for you both?
Chloe and Christie: Chloe is working on a few new, exciting projects and she is excited to announce them soon. Christi has a few things up her sleeve, too. Stay tuned!
