Christmas Comes Early For Families At Taronga Zoo

Families can celebrate Christmas with their favourite animals and meet special guest, Santa, when Sydney's Taronga Zoo opens after hours for one night only on Saturday 14 December for the Taronga Family & Friends Christmas event.
 
From 5.00–8.30pm, visitors can meet their favourite animals and celebrate the festive season with numerous activities including face painting, Christmas crafts and the chance to purchase a photo with Santa.
 
Refreshments will be available to purchase, or visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy a sunset supper on the lawns while listening to live entertainment provided throughout the evening by carol singers and DJ Elve. The zoo shops will also be open late for parents looking for some last minute gift ideas.
