Once there, the children discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has been turned into a world of eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Aided by the wise and magnificent lion Aslan, the children lead Narnia into a spectacular, climactic battle to be free of the Witch's glacial powers forever!

Set in a drearier England going through wartime, the story begins when the Pevensie children; Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy - are sent by their mother to an old professor's house in the country. It's while they are entertaining themselves playing hide-and-seek that Lucy, the youngest of the family discovers the mysterious wardrobe, which leads them into the unknown.

The inquisitive children follow after their sister and enter into the land of Narnia, where they are emersed by the wonders of the mystical land. While exploring the land and searching for Lucy's friend, the faun Mr Tumnus, the siblings discover all is not what it seems in the icy cold terrains of Narnia. Edmund, in his confusion, befriends the evil White Witch Jadis, not realising that she is the reason the beautiful land of Narnia is suffering, due to her wicked, controlling spell.

As they explore, the children realise so much is at stake! They need to unite with the people and creatures of Narnia, side with Aslan the great and powerful lion and join his army to fight a merciless battle against the White Witch, who wants to keep Narnia in a permanent state of winter.
