Celebrating individuality, creativity and friendship, Bratz are back to take Australia by storm. After a brief hiatus in the local market, Australia's favourite foursome - Yasmin, Sasha, Cloe, and Jade are back with new friend Raya, and will be available in several new ranges in select stores nationwide from next month.
The new line of dolls, created by MGA Entertainment, offers a number of exciting ranges, including Hello My Name is Doll, #SelfieSnaps Doll, #Selfie Stick with Doll and Study Abroad Doll, plus more. Each doll has a unique persona – from Jade's passion for skateboarding and creating custom clothes, to Yasmin's calm and boho approach to life – and these personalities are expressed through individual style and super cool fashions.
'Bratz have always led the industry in providing a diverse collection of dolls that offer girls a way to play as creatively as possible" said Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA Entertainment. 'What makes the new Bratz collection so unique is that we've also included immersive ways for girls to create their own worlds physically and digitally. Bratz is back to arm girls with the confidence to know that it's good to be yourself; and it's good to be a Bratz."
The connection between today's young girls and some of the world's most innovative and successful women through the Bratz experience is embodied by Larian's daughter, Jasmine. The Yasmin doll was inspired by Jasmine, who is now a successful entrepreneur in her own right, and a strong believer in everything that the Bratz dolls stand for.
The Bratz dolls express themselves in whatever area rocks their world – from music, the arts, soccer, skateboarding, design or posting on social media – encouraging girls to try different things. The range will also see the uptake of current trends, such as Create It Yourself (C.I.Y.) fashions and activities, studying abroad and enjoying -fierce' fitness activities such as yoga and hiking, alongside the more traditional sleepover, and the timeless theme of the power of friendship.
No other fashion dolls on the market have the Bratz attention to detail– from the dolls' premium hair and accessories, to the mix-and-match elements that inspire imaginative play. The new key ranges have been developed in line with the world-wide fascination with selfies, which also encourage self-expression through play.
Another highlight of the 2015 Bratz launch is the digital component, enabling young girls to create immersive experiences across multiple platforms. Through the C.I.Y Shoppe App, girls will be able to customise Bratz avatars, fashions and design spaces, while the Bratz YouTube Channel introduces the Bratz' individual personalities through stop-motion animation. Additionally Teen pop star Skylar Stecker recorded an original song, "Bratz What's Up," which will available on iTunes this Friday.
Hello My Name is Doll, #SelfieSnaps Doll, and #Selfie Stick with Doll will be available at toy stores nationwide, while Study Abroad Doll, #SnowKissed Doll, Fierce Fitness Doll, Metallic Madness Doll, and the Sleepover Range will be available at select retailers only.
