Based on the best-selling novel by Zoë Foster Blake, The Wrong Girl is a new urban romantic comedy centring on the life and loves of 29-year-old Lily Woodward. Starring Logie Award winner Jessica Marais (Love Child, Packed to the Rafters), Craig McLachlan (The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Deep Water), Kerry Armstrong (Bed of Roses, SeaChange), Madeleine West (Satisfaction, House Husbands) and comedian Hamish Blake (Hamish and Andy's Gap Year), The Wrong Girl is available on DVD from December 14 and on Digital now.
Lily Woodward (Marais) is a breakfast television producer who has it all – a great job, a trusting best friend and an awesome flat mate. Like everyone, Lily wants a life rich in romance, a dynamic career and a happy family, but getting there is proving to be complicated. When Lily is put in charge of producing a new cooking segment she finds herself caught between two men – Jack (Rob Collins, Cleverman, A Midsummer Night's Dream), the handsome chef who has just joined the breakfast show and most confusing of all, her best friend Pete (Ian Meadows, Rake, Killing Grounds), who she's known for years.
Brimming with exuberance, optimism and cheeky energy, The Wrong Girl is a sharp, playful and fresh look at relationships, friendships, work and family. A contemporary drama for anyone who has fallen in love with someone they were never meant to love, The Wrong Girl is available on DVD from December 14 and on Digital now.
