Jemena and Landcare Australia will host a free community day with BBQ lunch and family activities in one of Melbourne's historic national parks – encouraging families to live sustainably. The educational day will host activities including face painting, pony rides and furry friends at the live native animal display, as well as a chance to see wild kangaroos.  All ages can learn about home grown sustainability initiatives, with stalls and presentations ranging from smart energy use and bushfire safety; to growing indigenous plants and setting up a vegetable garden.
