Warwick Thornton developed an extensive body of work as a cinematographer and short film director, with titles including the award-winning Green Bush and Nana, before his debut feature, Samson & Delilah, won the Palme d'Or for Best First Film at Cannes in 2009. Recently, this talented filmmaker has moved into the art world, creating a 3D video installation entitled Stranded for the Adelaide Film Festival.
