Elk Road and Jes Ghost

Perth electronic artist and producer Elk Road (Rory Garton Smith) is back with a new track 'Ghost', a collaboration with US vocalist Jes, through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. 'Ghost' premiered last night on triple j via Good Nights with Bridget Hustwaite.

"I got the vocal from Jes around the start of the year and thought it was the best vocal I'd ever heard. I wrote on it constantly on planes all around Australia and the world. The final version of the song was finished backstage in Mexico a few weeks ago. Ghost is about finding yourself after a break up and moving on well. It's happy and uplifting."

Jes is a Grammy nominated vocalist. She wrote and sung on Motorcycle's 'As the Rush Come' (most played club song in the world in 2004), the grammy nominated 'Hold On', and worked with Tiesto on 'Everything.'

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, solo electronic artist and producer Elk Road (Rory Garton Smith) has divvied up his time travelling the world and studying, following a passion for snowboarding and surfing, and drawing inspiration from all around the globe.
