Thin Air to Pure Drinking Water - Envirosource Has the Solution

Relying on tap water or bottled water for drinking is now a thing of the past. Envirosource has designed a water purifier that delivers the purest drinking water available directly from the air.

The Envirosource air-to-water purifier, Aqua V, harnesses moisture from the atmosphere via condensation (much like an air-conditioner) to create an unlimited supply of pristine drinking water. The system works by drawing air through an electrostatic and carbon filter to be condensed into water. The water then passes through five more filters including a UV steriliser and a UF filter to ensure all bacteria or organic substances are removed.

Unlike tap, boiled, filtered and bottled water that all retain some impurities, the Aqua V has six stages of filtration resulting in the purest drinking water available.

"The Aqua V will extract up to twenty-four litres of purified drinking water per day," Gautam said.

Once installed, the Aqua-V will self-regulate with minimal maintenance. The unit recirculates water already collected to prevent stagnation, and the user can clean the air filter once a month, simply by running it through a dishwasher.

The other filters require regular maintenance - from six-monthly to once every two years - this servicing is carried out by a certified Envirosource service agent.
