Class dismissed! Event Cinemas have announced their school holiday program. Kicking off in September, the jam-packed extravaganza of family-friendly blockbusters and FREE arts and crafts activities will roll out at Event Cinemas locations nation-wide.
Little ones have an awesome holiday ahead with a spectacular line up of fun family films this spring. Watch their favourite Lego Ninjago warriors defend their island home from villains and monsters in The Lego Ninjago Movie, or join the amazing Captain Underpants as he saves the town from the evil Professor P in Captain Underpants: The Epic First Movie.
The Emoji Movie will unlock the never-before-seen world of Textopolis inside their smartphones, where all their favourite emojis live and work. Bigger kids won't miss out on the action with their favourite Disney star Debby Ryan starring in Aussie flick Rip Tide as the daughter of the head of a major modelling agency.
To complement these screenings, Event Cinemas have prepared a bumper program of free artistic activities that will engage kids in plenty of hands-on making and creating. Get ready to LOL with Emoji Movie masks, or transform into their favourite Lego characters with Ninjago face masks, plus their own Master Wu paper craft hats.
Superhero fanatics can let their imaginations run wild and create their own Captain Underpants comic strips, or start their own adventures with the Invent Your Own Superhero competition, with the most creative entry winning an awesome Captain Underpants prize pack. Younger artists can show off their colouring skills with an Emoji Movie colouring-in competition, with a fantastic prize pack up for grabs.
Who said the fun had to end with the holidays? Kids can take their favourite films back to school with Captain Underpants bookmarks, The Emoji Movie pencil toppers, and Lego Ninjago bag tags.
Fun family days are made affordable with the Cinebuzz Family Pass. Cinebuzz Members can see The Lego Ninjago Movie, Captain Underpants: The Epic First Movie, Rip Tide, or The Emoji Movie at discounted prices all throughout the school holidays. Family passes are available in variations of Admit 3 or 4, priced from $30-$50.
