Acting, singing, or striking a pose on the runway, Evie Theodorou takes the lead. Evie's given name Evanthia means "beautiful flower" in the Greek language. Evie still remembers her first professional photoshoot at a mere five years of age when she told her parents that her future ambition was to be on camera. Now at 16, you will find her in her very first web series called Nancy Mindy, where Evie is captivating in this production (release TBD). In addition to her acting career, Evie is working hard refining her vocals as she just recorded her first EP. Her song "Somewhere" from her EP has been released with BRAT Records on Oct. 25. Being a songwriter has also been something she has a passion for as she co-wrote her new EP. In her free time she keeps herself busy playing guitar and piano and continuing to work hard at her crafts. You will also catch her modeling year round for several designers on the runway in New York for the NYFW Style week.
Question: How would you describe your music?
Evie Theodorou : My music is definitely pop but I have a love for all genres. So if I can incorporate anything into my music to make it unique, I will do that and have done that. I don't want to be defined as one genre.
Question: Can you tell us about your upcoming EP?
Evie Theodorou : I love singing! This is still in the works right now especially since quarantine has slowed everything down. I have been working hard at home and with my vocal coaches to keep me ready for when things open. It will be amazing! Can't give away too many secrets yet :)
Question: Do you prefer singing, acting or modelling?
Evie Theodorou : I honestly feel like I just want to give my everything in all that I do. I want fans to look at me and see the artist I am and how much I love what I do. And if I can make a positive impact on them, then that is my purpose.
Question: What inspired you to begin modelling?
Evie Theodorou : It's honestly something that I have always loved. I love dressing up, even as a kid I would try on clothes and model for my family. Then as I began watching shows on TV and looking up to the runway models, that really gave me the push and love for it.
