Family Film Night for Forget Me Not Children's Homes

Experience the magic of the animated epic musical drama The Lion King under the stars with a special outdoor fundraiser screening for Forget Me Not Children's Homes at 6.30pm on Saturday 21 September at the Eumundi Amphitheatre.

Presented by Starry Nights Outdoor Cinema, The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to take his father Mufasa's place as king. However, after Simba's uncle Scar kills Mufasa, he must stop his uncle from conquering the Pride Lands and avenge his father.

Rated G, the film's uplifting messages of courage, loyalty and hope make this timeless tale entertainment for all ages.

President of Forget Me Not Children's Homes Craig Manley says the screening of the Disney classic is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together for a great night out, while at the same time raising much-needed funds for a worthwhile cause. Entry on the night is by donation directly to the charity.

Craig explains that Forget Me Not Children's Home is committed to providing vulnerable children in Nepal, Uganda and India with a future – by providing shelter, education and most importantly, love.

The event is proudly supported by Starry Nights Outdoor Cinema, LOVE Real Estate, Kids on the Coast, The Bohemian Bungalow, The Eumundi Green, Swell Architects and The Imperial Hotel Eumundi.
