The glamorous disco bulb illuminated dance floor will hold host to a new roaster of events under the stewardship of Paul Strange Present. The new arrangement follows collaboration between Paul Strange and Favela owner's Dean Dinov and James Moses.

Favela's first floor is reminiscent of the glamour of New York clubs in the 80's, with 8,000 golden light globes above that dim and pulsate to the beats of the DJ.

Since his arrival from Ibiza 7 years ago, Paul Strange, has helped mould the Sydney clubbing scene into what it is today. His experience & passion has benefited the high table of Sydney venues .

Fridays: The Nu Disco and Vocal House renaissance, which the Hed Kandi brand epitomizes, now has its heart beat on the polished dance floor of Favela. Focusing on the Hed Kandi experience, and away from the gratuitous hands of the headline DJ, Hed Kandi @ Favela will ride the wave of conceptual clubbing.

Sundays: The colorful spirit of Brazil is brought to Favela every Sunday night. It's the end of the weekend and it's time to party into the new week Brazilian style. The Brazilian fiesta at Favela encompasses all the Latino party elements: Brazilian music, both traditional and Bali funk, carnival dancers, drummers and performers. Complete with the Churrasco BBQ downstairs from 6pm accompanied by live music (from 7pm)
