FSHS makes its mark on today with it's Battle of the Bands 11 - 4. Previous alumni of The Battle, include Fuji Collective, ARIA winners Horrorshow, plus Phatchance and Jade Monkey who are both appearing as special guests.

Those of an active nature can be entertained on an array of unlimited rides for $25 from bouncy castles and tea set rides for pre-schoolers, to Dodgems or the Crazy Sizzler. Members of the community more interested in culinary offerings can enjoy Festival offerings at food stalls from around the globe - Asian, Mexican, Turkish, Indian, Sri Lankan and Japanese - and be entertained whilst they do so with an extensive program of local school bands, martial arts demonstrations and the renowned Fort Street IMP orchestras and ensembles.
