An affectionate portrait of American underground filmmakers, Mike and George Kuchar, pioneers of a camp/pop aesthetic that would influence filmmakers from John Waters and Todd Haynes to Guy Maddin and Atom Egoyan (all of whom appear in Kroot's documentary). Screens with Eclipse of the Sun Virgin (12 mins, 16mm), directed by George Kuchar in 1967, a film the actor/director describes as a "chilling montage of crimson repression".
