Ice cream lovers - get your spoons ready because Ben & Jerry's annual Free Cone Day is just around the corner! Tuesday April 10 marks Ben & Jerry's 40^th Free Cone Day, an unmissable occasion created to thank fans and YOU are invited to celebrate and grab a free scoop of Ben & Jerry's delicious Fair Trade ice cream.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is renowned for making the best ice cream in the nicest possible way, featuring its world famous chunks and swirls. On Free Cone Day Aussie ice cream lovers can experience the fun by heading to any Scoop Store across Australia for a cone of legen-dairy flavour goodness. Ice cream enthusiasts will be able to dig into their all-time favourite flavours or try something a little different.

Flavours on offer include the mouth-watering Coconut Seven Layer Bar featuring seven levels of luscious coconut heaven and crowd-pleaser Chocolate Fudge Brownie, mixing chunks of brownie goodness with dark and chocolate ice cream. For the more adventurous, the Non-Dairy Caramel Almond Brittle will delight Aussies with a mixture of almond frozen dessert with salted caramel swirls and pieces of almond brittle.

The annual global event has become an anticipated institution with over a million scoops handed out around the world at a phenomenal 2770 per minute in 2017. Ready to make a mark, Australia aims to serve up over 110,000 cones at this year's Free Cone Day, which would herald a new Australian record!

Free Cone Day originated in America in 1979, when co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield decided to throw a celebration to mark their first year of operation. Their local community of Vermont were rewarded with free scoops of the delicious creations for the supporting them. Today, the loyal Ben & Jerry's community has expanded around the globe including across Australia.
