The gaming sensation of 2004 returns in SingStar Pop - featuring new artists, tracks and gameplay features.First Launched in May of 2004, SingStar is a series of sophisticated singing-based games exclusive to the PlayStation 2 console that uses software and specially designed SingStar branded microphones to judge your pitch, tone and rhythm to give you a score as you sing to original artist tracks and their video clips.

Now, with yet more original features and options including rap scoring and medleys, SingStar Pop gives players the chance to sing some of the biggest pop hits of the last three years and yesteryear. SingStar Pop includes 30 new original tracks including home grown artists like Delta Goodrem, The Spazzys, Shannon Noll and INXS, which superbly compliments the already impressive list of household-name music superstars on SingStar.

With 30 great new tracks including Australian artists and new features, SingStar Pop makes a welcome edition for wannabe SingStar idols.

• More music and videos - featuring pop, urban, indie and classic hits, and for the first time a selection of AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS. All songs are original recordings, accompanied by the original video where possible
• Multi-player options providing a more social gameplay experience allowing up to 8 people to play at once
• EyeToy compatibility allows players to see themselves singing within the game, in place of the artist's video. Players are also recorded at key moments during their performance so they can replay the highlights afterwards; players can also take EyeToy photos that will appear within the menus, such as on the high-score screen. The game also includes new EyeToy effects taken from Classic '70s, '80s videos and more
• Playback technology allows players to hear their performance and save it to Memory Card if they wish; fun voice distortion effects can alter the player's pitch
• Freestyle allows players to practice without the pressure of being scored and rated, before trying it out in front of friends
• The Shuffle Token feature allows players to spin the carousel again if they have randomly been allocated a song they don't like
• Cross-disc compatibility with SingStar means that owners of the first game can insert the first SingStar disc at the carousel screen and automatically update the carousel with the 30 songs from another SingStar title. This allows players to sing all of the old songs as duets

NEW to SingStar Pop:

• Medleys - Short segments of songs (usually choruses) are strung together to form one song. There are five pre-set medleys, designed to provide a fun and interesting play experience
• Rap scoring - Certain songs feature specific rap sections - gain extra points with your rapping skills
• Voice filters - Brand new voice filters can be used in Playback Mode to distort and enhance your vocal performances
• Additional EyeToy camera features
