Bonds Undies
So everyone's seen the hot new bonds kaleidoscope ad but it doesn't really tell you much about the actual underwear except that they looks really good on girls with great bodies.
Firstly I should let you know some basic information. They cost from $11.95 to around $14.95 depending on the particular style (so they really aren't too pricey) and can be bought in all big department stores and most lingerie shops. They are super comfy and come in heaps of funky fresh designs that'll make anyone feel good about their body. My friends and I all love the thick waisted ones in particular because the don't cause marks in your skin, never fall down, and don't let anyone see your (crack :p)! Because they come in so many different styles, whether sporty, girly, fluoro, sparkly, etc. Bonds underwear can suit just about anyone! So go and get some now and be in with this great new trend, which is also a great excuse to tell your grandma to stop buying you those cheap puffy ones!
P.S. just in case anyone was wondering, the song on the Bonds add is 'Marina Gasolina' by Bonde Do Role a cool new band from Brazil (if you wanna check out any of their details go to their myspace: www.myspace.com/bondedorole)
Jeans
Jeans, everyone wears them on a day-to-day basis. They come in so many colours, shapes, designs, patterns and brands that it is really hard to choose which ones are right for you and your body, not to mention you wallet! Jeans can range from really cheap to really expensive but the trick is to find the pair that still look great but have the best value for money. You will often find that some of the less expensive jeans from, lets say, Supré, are made of the exact same material, are just as comfy and look pretty much the same as the ones from Bardot down the street but coz $95 less!!! And just because they are doesn't necessarily mean they are of less quality.
Dilemma: Because they look so great on the models you really wanna get a pair of Bettina Liano's, but you notice that they cost $230, so you ask your parents but they say no and show no signs of giving up even after persistent nagging. You are devastated! What are you going to do? You really wanted these jeans!
Solution: Well you might think its still not the same but head down to a local shopping centre, there will probably be some shops that don't have the fancy labels, the prices are quite low and nothing in the window looks very good. These are the shops where you will find gold! Well, not quite but you will find a pair of jeans nearly the same as those Bettina's you wanted and they are one $30! What a bargain!
Wrist Bows
Bows, bows, bows... colourful, pretty and decorative.
Bows have been around for years! People wear them in their hair, pinned onto a blazer, or around their waist but now there's a new way of wearing bows, around the wrist!
This is kind of worn like a bracelet and can match anything by simply changing the colour of the ribbon. It is also an emergency hair tie! Not following so far? Ok well let me explain: First take a hair tie, then tie a piece of ribbon in a bow around it, and put it around you wrist, EASY! (Tip: try not to get a small elastic as it can cut off your blood circulation)
Any kind of ribbon will look amazing but I personally think thicker ribbons look a lot a better (especially when their pink because that is my favourite colour!)
They are a great and creative way to finish off an outfit and look particularly good with a French manicure!
Don't tell your teachers I said this but if you are banned from wearing jewellery at school a wrist bow is a good way of manoeuvring around the rules because if you get told off you can simply tell your teacher it is a hair tie in case you needed one! Trust me, it works, I know this from personal experience. PLUS I always get comments about mine when I go out so try it and maybe you will too!
