Grad Season 2017

ABC presents Grad Season 2017, an exclusive showcase of the best original short film projects created by recently graduated Australian film school students, curated by ABC Arts on iview. It is the first initiative of its kind on any Australian online TV service.

Featuring 28 films from 9 film schools, the season gives up-and-coming Australian filmmakers access to Australia's popular iview service as a platform to share their work with a national audience. Selected works from the collection also have the opportunity for a broadcast premiere on ABC2.

There is a lot of talent out there and universities and colleges around the country are doing a great job in fostering and developing it. It's our job at the ABC to nurture emerging filmmakers to the next stages of their careers. We are delighted do just that with Grad Season and to celebrate and share their achievements with a national audience."

The season includes a variety of documentary, drama, comedy and animation films.
