Hot on the heels of opening for Taylor Swift and supporting Sabrina Carpenter on her US tour, global pop sensation Griff has today shared her gripping new single, 'Last Night's Mascara'. Listen HERE. The track is a long-awaited fan favourite that follows the release of her recent cover of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory's 'Pure Imagination' last week, which is currently being used as the timeless soundtrack to the Christmas Advert for American superstore chain, Target. Griff's UK album tour also kicks off this weekend in Glasgow, and culminates in a London show at the iconic Alexandra Palace on November.
This all follows the release of her debut album "Vertigo" in July which cemented Griff as the next great British pop star. Moving through the cycles of melancholy, disorientation, euphoria and self-discovery, it's a Coming of Age journey that Griff has taken fans on ever since she broke through over the pandemic. With a 360-approach on everything from production, fashion and design to the spiral motif long connecting vertigo in plain sight - right down to her signature hairstyle - she turns the tumultuousness of young adulthood into a vibrant source of power. Throughout the record, the BRITs Rising Star winner draws on her sideways origin-story, from her unorthodox Chinese-Jamaican outsider-status growing up to launching an international music career from the confines of her bedroom.
Griff kicked off her album world tour in Australia in August with highly acclaimed shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
"A magnified, full-bodied sound that has progressed in step with Griff's own growth…sends Griff's voice to the stars" - NME
"Magnificently bombastic" - The Guardian
"She's in complete control of everything that goes into her writing, her producing, she even makes her own outfits for stage. I love her so much" - Taylor Swift
