Guy Rules!

Yes, there are rules! OK, you are totally head-over-heels for this guy and he is making some major flirting time with you too! But before you make a move, check out these rules and make sure you're in the clear!

RED LIGHT:

1. He has a girlfriend. Hello? If this isn't obvious enough, there must be something wrong with you! Even if you do hook up, there is no guarantee that he won't go and cheat on YOU!

2. He just dumped one of your best friends and she is really upset. Remember - friends over guys all the time! And if the guy dumped her, he can't be that great - at least not great enough to risk losing a friend forever.

YELLOW LIGHT:

1. Your best friend just dumped him. Talk to your friend to find out why they broke up? If he was a total jerk, then it is wise to know before you ask him out. But if they just had mutual differences, then you can go right ahead, as long as your friend is okay with this.

2. His best friend is your EX. Uh-oh! Talk it over with your ex and see what he thinks. You still owe him a little respect even though it is over. You might also get a little more information on whether he likes you or not.

3. You two have gone out before. This situation happens a lot! Think back to why you broke up in the first place. Make sure things have changed and be weary that he just might be the same person as beforehand.

GREEN LIGHT:

1. He just dumped a girl you don't know - no harm, no foul! As long as there are not a string of girls in a row...also make sure he wants something more than just a "rebound".

2. One of your friends has a crush on him. A real friend won't care, all she should care about is that the two of you are happy together. As long as they haven't hooked up, you're in the clear!

PARTY TIPS: what grosses guys out!
    • Getting drunk and acting obnoxious.
    • Smoking - who wants to kiss an ashtray?
    • Picking up a new stud at every party.
    • Doing drugs.
    • Snobbish behaviour (like you are the Queen of the scene!)
