Heineken® has announced their exclusive line up for the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020 annual 'Heineken® Saturday' VIP party. This year, the event will be held at Heineken® House, located within the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge, on March, 14. Performing at the highly-anticipated event will be world-famous DJ, Locksmith from UK supergroup Rudimental and Australian pop sensation, Starley.
Hailing from East London, Leon Rolle (aka Locksmith) is an established musician, producer, DJ and frontman of the award-winning four-piece Rudimental. The eclectic group have been responsible for bringing a new school of British club music to the top of the pop charts, with tracks such as Feel The Love, Waiting All Night, Free and many more. With three-studio albums and world tours to his name, Locksmith is now gearing up to deliver a spectacular show at Heineken® House where he will headline with an exclusive DJ set, including some of his world-famous tunes, guaranteed to deliver the ultimate party experience.
Locksmith says, "Performing at Heineken® House at the Formula 1 is a momentous moment for any artist lucky enough to play, having performed here before I have hands on experience of how special this moment can be. I'm looking forward to coming back to Australia, a country that has not only supported Rudimental heavily but myself as well. To play my solo DJ set at this event is a dream & I can't wait to be back in Oz."
Singer and songwriter Starley, is set to captivate the crowd with her energetic performance and electro-pop summer vibes. Having graced the stage alongside the likes of Katy Perry, Cher, Clean Bandit and most recently touring with Carly Rae Jepsen in 2019, Starley is set to wow the crowd with her superstar stage presence and rich melodies. Having amassed over a billion streams of her single Call On Me, Starley has kept the pop tunes flowing with her most recent single, Lovers + Strangers, released late last year.
Currently residing in the U.S. Starley is excited to be back in Australia and says of the upcoming performance, "I'm so excited to be performing exclusively at Heineken® House during the Australian Grand Prix weekend, I'll be showcasing some new music and bringing the party vibes. It's going to go off, I can't wait!" Says, Starley.
Debuting in 2017, Heineken Saturday has previously hosted international performances by an array of artists, such as the Black Eyed Peas, and up to 5000 guests at the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix. This year the newly created space located within the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge will feature Heineken House on Level One, an intimate and premium space, attended by an array of high-profile international and local guests who will be treated to special music performances, ice cold Heineken®, good food and great vibes.
Heineken® has established itself as the host of one of Melbourne's must-attend events and in 2020 they are expected to out-do themselves. Guests will be treated to additional performances throughout the day by Sydney's premier party band, Bermuda Social and Melbourne's distinguished house DJ, Chloe Wilson.
