International Gynaecological Awareness Day is held around the world on the 10th September each year. It was established to encourage the breaking down of entrenched social, and cultural taboos, still surrounding most things 'gynaecological'.

In Perth, the Gynaecological Awareness Information Network Inc. (GAIN) will be helping women embrace International Gynaecological Awareness Day and the precious parts of their bodies by hosting a High Tea at the Hilton, on Saturday September 11, 2010.

Guest speakers for the event, with the theme, 'Sex and the Nitty Gritty' include:

-Prof. Jenny McCloskey
-Mary-Anne Kenworthy
-Kath Mazzella (Founder of GAIN, Gynaecological Cancer survivor)

Guests will also be able to enjoy a fashion parade by XXX, and Lady Velvet Cabaret.
