Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a holistic form of medicine that aims to help the body heal itself. The name comes from the Greek word "homios" meaning "like" and "pathos" meaning "suffering". Therefore Homeopathy is "treating like with like". It has been shown to work well with acute and chronic conditions. The small amounts of various substances used by Homeopaths in their treatment of complaints are called "Homeopathic Remedies". There are about 3,000 different remedies that are mixed with each other or used in isolation.

Ailments that arise from within the patient usually respond the best to Homeopathic treatment. These are some of those conditions:

- eczema
- asthma
- allergies
- indigestion
- irritable bowel syndrome
- blisters and various skin problems
- diarrhea
- headache
- pulled muscles
and the list goes on....

It must be noted that treatments work well in all ages and races of people, from babies to the elderly, but, the treatment must only last as long as it is required. Remedies must also follow a complete history and thorough diagnosis by a qualified Homeopath.
