Neil Patrick Harris Interview Highlights:
-Neil says he wants to make it clear that Britney approached the show and asked to guest star and not the other way around. He said they all initially thought it was a joke when Britney Spears' camp called.
-While Britney Spears is on HIMYM's set on Stage 22 at the Fox lot on Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles, the crew have to wear wristbands to "keep meddling blogger friends from just strolling on to set to snap camera phone pics." Neil says "It's like the ultimate afterparty!"
-Neil didn't have his wristband today and could not get on his own set.
However, after he "had some words" with the guard and was finally admitted to the stage.
- "Britney has shown up three days out of three so she's batting 1,000."
-Neil says he's sorry Alicia Silverstone couldn't do her role in the same episode as Britney Spears, but Sarah Chalke is a "perfect fit for the show" and matches Josh "beat for beat" in every scene.
-If Barney had a shot at Britney, "Barney would out-Adnan Adnan."
-Time on set: "It's an interesting change of pace for her to be around a group of people that don't have an agenda with her or want to take her picture. So I don't know how often she's just hung out with other actors and 'normal' regular people. I hope she enjoys the experience."
