February the 15th is International Childhood Cancer Day and this year Cure Our Kids, the non-profit charity dedicated to the cancer unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, is urging Australians to dig deep and help support this important cause.

Cure Our Kids will be selling branded gold ribbons specifically in an effort to raise funds towards their vital work. Established in 2001, the charity provides an array of services to improve quality of life for children undergoing treatment, and the families who battle alongside them. The charity maintains that medical treatment is only half the solution when it comes to childhood cancer, and their services seek to address the often overlooked aspects of a childhood cancer diagnosis - providing emotional support, promoting psychological wellbeing and offering financial assistance to help families pull through.
