TOUR: JAPANESE MODERNISM VIRTUAL TOUR

Japanese Modernism is the latest immersive virtual tour to be shared on the NGV Channel. The exhibition, exclusive to the NGV, showcases more than 190 multi-disciplinary works created during the first half of the 20th century, featuring Asian Art Deco paintings, prints, design and fashion.

The NGV Collection exhibition presents traditional Japanese motifs juxtaposed with modern designs, highlighting two rare large-scale works by women in early 20th century Japan as well as leading avant-garde designers and illustrators of the era. 

The virtual tour offers an at home experience of the exhibition space allowing audiences to zoom in and out of works, watch exhibition videos and read in depth artwork labels.
